ROANOKE, VA—The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that John M. Scheib has been named to the Virginia Lawyers Weekly 2023 “Leaders in the Law” list and Alicha M. Grubb has been named to the publication’s “Up & Coming Lawyers” Class of 2023. Honorees were recognized at the Virginia Lawyers Weekly celebration on October 24 in downtown Richmond.

Scheib is a partner in Gentry Locke’s General Commercial Practice Group and the former Chief Legal Officer and a former senior executive of Norfolk Southern Corporation.

Grubb is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Construction groups and handles construction matters related to contract negotiations, payment disputes, mechanic’s liens, construction defects, and delay claims for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals.
