Is it time to reinvent yourself?

Let me tell you a little story. When I graduated college, I was working in Manhattan as an executive assistant for this French investment bank. My annual salary was $50,000 and I worked there for a year to pay for my wedding. I went on to spend 3 years in law school and when I got offered my first Associate position, my then boss did not want to budge on his $45,000 annual salary.  Mind you, I was also a good  $150,000+ now in more debt. After some negotiation, we finally agreed on $47,0000, $3,000 less than what I was making prior to going to law school.

So you know what I did after working there for a year? I Repositioned myself and started a Mary Kay beauty business as a licensed attorney! Yes, that’s right! I started a lipstick business with my bar license in hand. Do you know why? Because I was taking control of my life.

Everyone thought I was crazy for going that but guess what? I did not care. None of those with opinions on what I was doing with my life ever offered to cut checks to pay my bills.

Within a year, I had doubled my income! And this is with me not having a clue on how to run a business. It was pure ignorance on fire. I just got excited about the possibilities. But you know what I did do? I became a copycat! But more importantly, started copying the right cats.

I started emulating women in the business who were earning big paychecks and being awarded cards and diamonds. Soon, I was getting big checks and driving a pink Cadillac… All-cause I took a chance on myself and repositioned myself. I put myself in the way of success and success had no choice but to sweep me up.  

Today, Attorneys don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Just copy the Right cat, ME! My blueprint will have you fully equipped to create the same financial independence and abundance I have.
