KCNF Selects Mackenzie Karbon as its New June D.W. Kalijarvi Employment Law Fellow

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch (KCNF), P.C. is pleased to introduce Mackenzie Karbon as the new June D.W. Kalijarvi Employment Law Fellow. The two-year fellowship was established to celebrate the work of Kalijarvi, who founded the law firm more than forty-eight years ago, and who was a fierce and tireless advocate for federal-sector employees facing discrimination or discipline in the workplace. Karbon was selected because of her commitment to public interest and/or employment law.

Karbon’s passion for workplace justice was ignited when she had the opportunity to intern at the Delaware Department of Justice’s Community Engagement Unit, where she witnessed the transformative power of fair employment practices.
