Malcolm X’s Family to Sue FBI, CIA and NYPD

On Tuesday, the 58th anniversary of Malcom X’s death, his family announced their intentions to sue the FBI, the CIA and the New York Police Department for their handling of the investigation into and potential role in his 1965 assassination, Sareen Habeshian reports for Axios. Attorney Ben Crump said during a press conference announcing the suit that the family has been informed of an alleged conspiracy to conceal evidence related to Malcom X’s murder. Muhammad Aziz and Khalil Islam were exonerated in 2021 after being wrongfully convicted of Malcom X’s murder.
