Moore & Van Allen Welcomes Daniel Young as Director of Economic Development

CHARLOTTE, NC—Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce that Daniel Young has joined the firm as Director of Economic Development. In this role, he will leverage his many years of experience serving as executive director of the South Carolina Coordinating Council for Economic Development (CCED) to help lead MVA’s nationally recognized Economic Development & Incentives team.

Young has more than 30 years of senior experience in all aspects of economic development projects, including negotiating incentive packages, overseeing incentive administration, permitting, and workforce development.

Young has notable experience in the automotive industry specifically, having helped to secure projects in South Carolina with BMW, Volvo Car, Scout Motors, Continental Tire, Michelin, Bridgestone, AESC (EV) Energy Storage and Daimler Vans. He also has experience in research involving state industrial projects, rural development, and disaster recovery.
