BOSTON, MA—Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Alexandra L. Pichette presented on the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) webinar, “Exit Interview Checklist & Templates,” on Sept. 14. Pichette and fellow panelists discussed best practices for understanding employee separations and how to minimize legal risk and safeguard legal rights during the exit interview process. Topics of discussion included the goals of an exit interview, strategic considerations for whether to conduct an exit interview, how to approach the interview when an employee is likely to raise a potential complaint, and more.

Pichette represents employers in labor and employment matters in state and federal court, in private arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, the NLRB, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Office of the Attorney General, the Department of Labor, and California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing and office of the Labor Commissioner and other state agencies.
