New ABA Public Lands and Resources Vice Chair for Membership, Inclusion
LOS ANGELES, CA—ECODiversity celebrates the appointment of Noemi Lujan Perez to serve in the American Bar Association’s Section on Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Public Lands and Resources Committee. The SEER Public Lands and Resources Committee focuses on a broad array of public land and resource issues, as well as issues involving international public, private, tribal, local, and state lands and resources.
In her role, Noemi Lujan Perez will serve as the SEER Public Lands and Resource’s Committee’s Vice Chair of Membership and Inclusion. She will be responsible for driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) priorities among legal practitioners within the public lands and natural resources profession. She will also support SEER’s Membership Diversity Enhancement Program (MDEP) efforts to recruit law students and young lawyers into the public lands and natural resources field.
