New BBC Docuseries Looks at Parole Hearings in England and Wales

Rob McKeon, a former BBC Radio Stoke presenter, current Parole Board member, and panel chair, is featured in a new documentary series on BBC Two, BBC News reports. The show follows the parole hearings and decisions of 16,000 potentially dangerous prisoners in England and Wales each year. Witnesses such as probation staff are interviewed to help the board decide if a prisoner has met the legal criteria for release. “You have to leave moral judgment at the door, I make a decision based on the evidence,” McKeon said.
