Seven Nashville Police Employees Placed on Leave Amid Probe into Leaked School Shooter Writings
After writings from a shooter who killed six people at The Covenant School in Nashville Tennessee were recently posted online, seven employees of the city’s police department have now been placed on “administrative assignment” amid the ongoing investigation into who released them, Rebecca Cohen reports for NBC News. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said it is placing the seven people, who remain unidentified, on leave to “protect the integrity of the active, progressing investigation” and that all seven still have full police power. The images posted online Monday appeared to show writings about conducting a school shooting on a specific date.
